I might found this Mongoose tyax elite is quite a cheap cross country bike, but even though so, I need to replace some of its specifications like the brakes. I don’t really like the brakes from promax Mechs because I found them oftenly not safe enough. Also the tires, I don’t see them quite good in making the grip onto the ground. I was once slipped at merely ordinary terrain, this was definitely not good, so I replaced them. But overall, the frame and fork are good enough. After all, they’re just the essentials of Mongoose Tyax Elite which need to be good enough.

I think I’m okay with the Mongoose Tyax Elite saddle even my son with the height as tall as I am, said that the seatpost was too thin, so I replaced it with the convenient one. This also do with the rails and saddle. I was forced to replace the front derailleur because my son broke it at the flat ground. This is the end of Mongoose Tyax Elite Review .
